Sing About Learning

Connecting the Curriculum and Music

“Let’s write a song about fractions, inventors or Native Americans!”

This classroom-based songwriting workshop, formerly known as “Creating a New Hit Song”, teaches your students how to become better, more expressive writers, thinkers and organizers. As they experience the process of creating a new classroom song, your students will also learn the craft of lyric writing, selecting from among different musical styles and collaborating with visiting recording artists, Beth & Scott. Following the program, every student receives a compilation CD with all of the songs composed and recorded by the participating classes.

Don’t miss this opportunity to partner with professional songwriters for a program that can inspire good writing, reinforce any area of your curriculum and allow students the thrill of being stars.
